Amabilino Pyro Displays design each show from scratch, creating totally unique shows, with the aim to broaden peoples horizons of the possibilities with fire and fireworks, combining elements from historic styles and methods, through theatre and modern technology, with an international range of materials and techniques into top quality entertainment.

Mik Amabilino's previous achievements range from painting, sculpting and furniture design to theatre set and lighting, and from photography to interior décor, always with a fresh Unique style.
This background and a love of a wide spectrum of music provide the roots for highly individual and original show creation, with choreography of the fireworks echoing and enhancing the moods and rhythms of soundtracks, and enlivening landscapes and stage sets alike.

. The Experience

Mik has 20 years experience in the pyrotechnics industry, ten as an independent designer and producer of firework displays, stage pyrotechnics; special flame effect devices and installations.
With clients including Felix Dennis, Mont Blanc Boutique,' The Fridge' Brixton, Coopers & Lybrand, Mik has worked in venues as diverse as the V&A museum, Arts Depot II in Hampstead, Hammersmith Palais (10th anniversary of AFFRODIZIAC), Docklands (for Jean-Michel Jarre London Docklands Concert) and the Cotton House lawns Mustique.

Mik's experience also includes effects design & production for numerous product launches, advertising campaigns, conferences.stage shows and other celebrations.

AMABILINO PYRO DISPLAYS CURRICULUM VITAE

Established in 1989 Amabilino Pyro Displays has a loyal and select clientele for private, public, and corporate events.
In addition to this we provide professional services within the firework and pyrotechnic industry ranging from special set-piece design and fabrication to show design, to full project management. This has included rigging and firing on the Queens Jubilee Fireworks, for Pyrovision , an18' Crown fire-drawing in Birmingham, for Fantastic Fireworks, and various displays in Eire for The Black Powder Monkeys, as well as projects for The Firework Company, Standard Fireworks, Explosive Arts, and Celebration Fireworks amongst others.

We are a versatile and creative company with wide experience in unusual and restricted venues, including roof tops, courtyards, rivers, and back gardens, where careful product selection is essential to maintain the best effect possible while maintaining safety.
And in the larger arena we source the best products to complement the event. This includes choreography to any soundtrack, custom made effects from stage to aerial shellbursts, and special set-piece design & production.

Following our successful lantern workshops and closing ceremony Fireworks display for Chicken Sheds 2001 Summer festival we have gone on to support Chicken Shed with mask workshops and two firework shows for their 2002 festival. We are currently introducing pyrotechnics into their repertoire for stage effects, including staff training. This has included three shows to date, including their Xmas show 'The Night Before Xmas', and we are now developing effects for their forthcoming production of 'Peter Pan'.
